The KOGO App is absolutely free to download on both Android and iOS. You DO NOT need a KOGOPRO subscription or own a KOGOBOT to use the KOGO App

What features on the KOGO App are free

Watching Content, Search, Social Features, Community, Discussions, Chats, Discovery, Experiences, Bookings and any kind of consumption is free. For AI storytelling, automated videos, route tracking, auto stories and trip tracking, you need to get a KOGOPRO membership or purchase a KOGOBOT

Can I get a trial of AI storytelling & Automated Videos features of KOGOPRO.

Yes. There is a 3 day free trial of the KOGOPRO.

Can I use the same KOGO App account from different devices

There is no restriction on the KOGO App being used on multiple devices. As long as the account information is the same, you can download and use the app across devices and Operating systems.

How many people can I follow / be followed by

Unlimited

Is there a restriction on Discovery & Booking of Experiences

No restriction. You can Discover Experiences, Stay & Activities and Book the same directly from the KOGO App. There may be some curated experiences under In-App Purchases.

Is there a restriction on the number of groups/chats that I can create in the community section

No Restriction.

Can I use my KOGOPRO subscription across devices

The As long as the account information is the same, you can download and use the app across devices and Operating systems.

Can I get a trial of AI storytelling & Automated Videos features of KOGOPRO.

Yes. There is a 3 day free trial of the KOGOPRO, after your subscription will be activated. You can cancel the subscription anytime during the trial period.

Does my Account information change when I upgrade to KOGOPRO membership.

No. Your account information stays the same, just your subscription details change.

What is the difference between KOGOPRO and KOGOBOT.

Apart from the price difference, KOGOPRO subscription uses the phone for tracking and can track trips within a single day along with all AI storytelling features. KOGOBOT uses the KOGOBOT for tracking, can track multiday trips, has all the features of KOGOPRO, AI storytelling and more. Please see detailed comparison on the site

Are all trips on KOGOPRO Live

When you are starting a new trip, you can choose to keep the LIVE TRIP visible to everyone, only your followers or Private. All trips when published become public.

Do I need to keep my location services on to start a trip on KOGOPRO

Yes. You will need to enable location services to ALWAYS in order to start & track a trip on KOGOPRO. If you switch location services OFF, KOGOPRO will not track you trip

Do I need to be connected to the Internet to start a trip on KOGOPRO

Yes. You NEED an internet connection to START or END your trip on KOGOPRO.

What Happens, if I lose Internet connectivity while on a trip.

NOT TO WORRY. KOGOPRO will continue to track your trip, even when you are offline. During this time, you will be unable to use features within the App and your Live Trip will not be visible to other users. You will however need the Internet to END your Trip. At this time, KOGOPRO will automatically update your offline route and make it visible.

Is the an SOS feature on KOGOPRO

KOGOPRO has a LIVE HELP feature, through which you can ask for help, SOS or otherwise, to all KOGO users. This is however dependent on your cell phone network connection.

How much time does it take for photos & videos to upload onto KOGO.

As fast as any social media and messaging platform and varies depending on your cellular network connection speed.

Can I edit my photos & videos after completing my trip.

Yes. Even though all the stories and videos are AI generated, you can also make changes in them as and when desired.

Can I edit my route on KOGOPRO

No. KOGOPRO tracks your route as you travel and cannot be altered manually. You can however, choose to hide stops

What is KOGOBOT? What are its key features.

KOGOBOT is an independent GPS tracking device, that tracks your travels to pinpoint accuracy and sends this data to your paired KOGO account to harness the power of automated storytelling. It has a 6000 mAh battery, 2G SIM slot, IP 67 rating, proximity & vibration sensors, Offline data recording mode and magnetic mount.

What is in the KOGOBOT Box

The KOGOBOT Box contains the following items (1) KOGOBOT (2) Contact Charger cable (3) Magnetic Back Mount (4) Pre-loaded Airtel SIM card (5) Mini Screw Driver to open the KOGOBOT for Sim change (6) Extra screws (7) User Manual.

Which all countries does the KOGOBOT work in?

The KOGOBOT works only in any country where there is an M2M (Machine to Machine) 2G SIM network. This is most of South East Asia, Africa and limited networks in Australia, New Zealand, North America & South America. The pre-loaded SIM is provided only in India. In case you wish to use it in any other country you can install a SIM that supports the KOGOBOT.

How do I change the SIM?

The KOGOBOT comes bundled with a small screwdriver. Just turn around the BOT unscrew the four screws on the corners. Take out the SIM already inserted and put in a SIM that supports 2G network in the region.

What is the Magnet with the KOGOBOT?

The magnet with the KOGOBOT is to mount it on metallic surfaces. The bot can be used without the magnet as well.

Does the KOGOBOT have a camera?

NO. The KOGOBOT does have a camera. Some people however, mistake the proximity sensor at the back of the device as a camera, but the KOGOBOT is a pure GPS tracker.

How do I know if the KOGOBOT is on?

Press the button in the centre of the KOGOBOT once and the status lights will blink for 10seconds to indicate that the bot is on and working. You can also check the status of the KOGOBOT on your App in the MY PROFILE section.

What is the meaning of the status lights?

There are three lights – (a) GREEN - It indicates GPRS(Internet) connection. Rapid flashing of this light indicates that the device is searching for a 2G network. (b) BLUE – It indicates GPS(Satellite) connectivity. Rapid flashing of this light indicates that the device is searching for satellites. (c) RED – It indicates battery status. Rapid flashing of the light indicates low battery.

How do I restart my KOGOBOT?

To restart the KOGOBOT (1) press the centre button for 10 seconds until all the status lights on the KOGOBOT stop blinking (2) Press the status button once, to check if any lights come on, if not The KOGOBOT is now off . (3) Hold the status button down for 5 -8 seconds and the status lights will come on (4) You have successfully restarted the KOGOBOT.

What is the meaning of KOGOBOT status showing “ONLINE” in MY PROFILE

“ONLINE” means that the BOT is charged, switched on and connected to the internet via its 2G SIM card and is able to communicate with our servers.

What is the meaning of KOGOBOT status showing “OFFLINE” in MY PROFILE

There can be only two reasons for the KOGOBOT to be “OFFLINE ”. Either it is off or it is not in a 2G network area. Make sure that the KOGOBOT is charged, switched on and connected to the internet via its 2G SIM card and is able to communicate with our servers.

What does “KOGOBOT was last seen xx hours back” mean?

It means that the KOGOBOT had an active internet connection xx hours ago and since that time it is offline.

Why can't I start my trip if the KOGOBOT is offline?

Location information of your trip is captured from by the KOGOBOT and there are chances if your bot is not online you may lose your trip data.

Do I need to keep my location services on my KOGO App to start a trip on KOGOBOT

Yes. You will need to enable location services in order to start a trip on KOGOBOT

Do I need to the Internet to start a trip on KOGOBOT

Yes. You NEED an active internet connection to START or END your trip on KOGOBOT.

What Happens, if I lose Internet connectivity while on a trip.

NOT TO WORRY. The KOGOBOT will continue to track your trip, even without Internet and can do so for UPTO 5 days continuously.
